A brief history of Bachata –

Bachata is a beautiful dance from the Dominican republic. Originating early 20th century. It derived from the bolero, which is from Cuba, imported into the Dominican Republic.

What long will it take me to learn?

This depends entirely on the individual but we do highly recommend that everyone finish the 8 weeks Foundation Classes to get a proper understanding of the Bachata technique & connection before moving on to the improvers classes.
Not only is Daniel a passionate instructor, but he also infuses the classes with gentle explanations,  great beginner techniques and practical explanations also.

What if I have never danced before?

Absolute beginners are welcome. Like most new things you try, it will take a bit of time before it becomes second nature but our classes are well structured, which makes learning easy and fun. You will start from the basics and build up your foundations and all the cool steps and styles.

What do I wear in the classes?

Wear something comfortable. Jeans and flat shoes, no high heels.
No need to wear special dance shoes, however, avoid shoes with excessive grip on the soles. As this is a close-connection dance, be mindful of your personal hygiene.

How do I pay?

We are only accepting cash or bank transfer at the moment. Or you can take advantage of our new membership programme and save money.
